This article deals with steps to make an Outbound Call from the Dialpad in VoiceStack Agent App.
Here are the steps to follow:
1. Click Dialpad in the VoiceStack Agent App.
- The Dialpad is displayed.
2. Enter the following details in the dialpad:
Number to Call: Enter the phone number you wish to dial.

Select Outbound Caller ID
The Caller ID is the number displayed to patients when your practice contacts them.
Multi-location practices: You can choose from multiple Caller IDs based on the location you want the patient to see.
Single-location practices: The default Caller ID for that location will be used.
3. Click to place the call.
| Note: Before placing the call, agents can search and select the appropriate outbound Caller ID. You can find it quickly by searching using either the Location Name or Phone Number. |
- The Patient 360 is displayed when the call is placed.
To Call Internal Team Members within your Practice
Select the Extensions tab and search for the desired extension.
You can locate it by entering either the extension number or the staff member’s name.
Hover over the name, then click the call button to place the call.
| Note: You can also use the dial pad to make internal calls during a call. This helps you navigate Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menus. |
