Module: Admin App
The Admin in the VoiceStack app plays a central role in setting up, managing, and overseeing the entire system. There are two types of admin users:
- Admin: Has standard access with limited controls. Suitable for users who need to manage day-to-day tasks without full control over all system settings.
- Super Admin: Has full access to all settings and controls, including high-level configuration and management options. They have access to Additional Options, AI Usage, Email Notification, Blocked Number, Audit Log, and Agent Status, which are not available to admins.
Create a New Admin User
1. Navigate to Configuration > General Settings > Admin Users.
- The Admin Users screen displays a list of all registered admins.
- You can refine the list using the search bar or the location filter.
2. Click Create Admin User in the top-right corner.
3. Specify the required details on the displayed screen.
- Select User: Select a user from the dropdown list.
- Email: Enter the Email ID of the user.
- Location: From the dropdown, select specific locations or choose All to grant access to all locations.
- Number: Select phone numbers assigned to the admin user. You can include multiple numbers if needed.
- Report User: Enable this option if the admin is a report user.
- Download Audio: Enable this option to allow admins to download call recordings as needed.
- Admin Deletion: When enabled, the admin can delete other admin users.
Note: A Report User has limited, read-only access focused on reporting and analytics. They can view dashboards, track performance metrics, and monitor day-to-day activity, but cannot modify settings or operational data. This role is suitable for stakeholders who need visibility without administrative control.
4. Click Create to add the admin user or click Cancel to discard the changes.
Update an Existing Admin User
1. Locate the user to be updated from the listing table.
2. Click Edit.
3. Specify the changes in the Update Admin User modal.
Note: The PIN is auto generated while creating a user. This is required to access voicemails in VoiceStack and can be reset here.
4. Click Update.
Remove an Admin User
1. Locate the user you want to delete in the listing table.
2. Click Delete. A confirmation prompt is displayed.
3. Click Delete to confirm.
